CSR is in fact a fundamental lever for the consolidation and growth of an enterprise within its operating context: it helps create a distinctive identity, countering the risk of standardisation.
Obiettivo Lavoro has chosen to give structure and visibility to its Social Responsibility commitments, taking its cue from the most advanced and informative results obtained by universities, research centres, companies and institutions.
In designing our original CSR framework, we have in particular drawn from some internationally recognised guidance documents.
- "The Copenhagen Charter": Launched at the third international conference on "social and ethical accounting, auditing and reporting" held on 14 November 1999.
- "GRI - Global Reporting Initiative": Initiative launched in 1997 in the USA, with the contribution of the UN, has been publishing guidelines since 2000. The most recent version in use is "GRI 3", issued in 2006.
- "GBS – Social Reporting Group": Initiative launched in Italy by a group of universities, consultancies and auditing firms. The proposed framework defines the objectives as well as the structure and content.
